Dedication & Thanksgiving Service of the Jeannie Cheong Lean Eng Building

Last Monday, 13th March 2006 was a significant day to MBSP. A service of dedication and thanksgiving was held for the new extension block, Jeannie Cheong Lean Eng Building. It was attended by old students and present ones as well.

Among the distinguished guests included Dr. Hwa Yung, Bishop of the Methodist Church in Malaysia (incidentally also an old boy), Ms. Yin Kam Yoke (Education Secretary of the Methodist Church in Malaysia), Pastor Lawrence Francis (Wesley Methodist Church) and Dato' Lim Cheng Chuan (Chairman of the MBS Board of Governors).

A special ceremony was arranged for this occasion and the VIPs led the others present in prayers and dedication of this building to the education of the students of MBS Penang. It is hoped that with more equipped and modern facilities that the students will be able to learn better and achieve more hence catapulting MBS such as before in its glorious days.
