MBS Fund-Raising Dinner

Dear ACS/MBS-ians,

MBS Penang will be organizing a fund-raising dinner on Sunday, 9th November 2008.
The venue is The Grand Ballroom of The Gurney Resort & Hotel at Gurney Drive.
Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, The Second Minister of Finance is the Special Guest of Honor.

The school is in dire need of classrooms. This project seeks to build a three storey building
of 11 classrooms and 1 science laboratory to overcome the shortage. Your alma mater truly
need your support. Please support the project by puchasing dinner tickets. There are 3
categories of tickets.

Normal tickets : at RM100 each or RM1,000 per table.
VIP tickets : at RM300 each or RM3,000 per table.
VVIP tickets : at RM600 each or RM6,000 per table.

You or your corporation can also help through classroom sponsorship. There are 2 types of
classroom sponsorship.

New Classroom (New Building) at RM20,000 Old Classroom (Old Building) at RM10,000.
The name of the sponsor will be placed on a special plaque to acknowledge the contribution.

Are you sure joining this so call Fun Raising Dinner is going to make money?
I am very definate they did!!!

How abt those people given a really narrow deadline to help out the school and got complained abt this and that and was never paid even the work was done?

First they gave you their own sample of a thing which cannot be made into public..
We made it into the mode that everybody can see it..accordingly to their prototype..
Next they complain for this and that...
Then lame excuses stating not everybody's house has devices which is up to date like a simple color TV.
Then suggestion like making things compatible to 1980 on a 2008 technology..
Why they bother to have this blogspot?
Shouldn't they still be sending letters rather than using the computer?
I should have forseen this coming by helping the school despite my wedding which is just a few days away from the deadline.

And never got paid!
